Selecting via Report

Below the "Enter name or number" field is a pick-list titled "or choose report". This allows a pre-written report to be run. The results of the report are automatically inserted into the list of numbers to be sent to. Reports are specific to each database type, and so will need to be specifically written for your requirements.

An example of such a report might be: Your database has an appointment book, and you wish to send a MemoTxt message to all people with appointments on a certain day to remind them of their impending appointment. After executing the report, all people with mobile phones who have an appointment for the chosen day will appear in the numbers list, ready to be sent.

NB: A message can be permanently attached to each report. In this message, you can include contents of the report. Eg in the example above you would want to include the appointment time for each person as part of the message. MemoTxt will automatically merge each persons appointment time into their message as it is sent.
